Transformations

Generally speaking, where is the first place people go when they wake up in the morning? Probably the same place they were just before getting into bed the night before. The bathroom. If our bedroom is our oasis, then our bathroom is the canteen.

In a small shared bathroom, parties involved must time their usage of the bathroom carefully so as not to interfere with other said party. For example, why does Brice want to brush his teeth while I'm washing my face?

We have a small bathroom. We have a really tiny bathroom. And it's old. The tile is crumbling in the floor, the caulk in the shower is multi-colored and uncleanable, and the sliding shower doors are foggy-type glass and always look dirty. Well, change that "is" to "was" folks cuz look what we got now!

New shower, new shower doors, new toilet, new floor!! It's so exciting! And get this, when they got to ripping the old out, they found a foot of extra space in the back and above the shower!

See the extra space? And notice the doors - they are clear. This makes the room feel bigger because it looks open and not cut in half. The picture below is just to give you an idea of the dimensions of the room:

Yep, small. But now, every night before we go to bed and every morning when we wake up, we enter our bathroom with joy and gratefulness. It's amazing how a bigger, nicer shower can change your perspective! And it's so pretty.

Love it! Reggie comes today and I'm going to tell him he made the Internet. Maybe even show him the pictures. MM

LOVE IT! I vote you don't hang that thing back over the toilet either :) I might come visit just so I can use the new shower. The other one always made me nervous.

Does the door shut now?
